Karri has a B.S. in Elementary Education from William Jewell College. She has always had varied interests from singing, sports, health, to educational methodologies. In college she spent a year in Japan. After college she was a house mom for unwed mothers at Missouri Baptist Children's Home. She then entered the classroom as a 4th grade teacher, then PE and Health teacher at Tower Grove Christian School where she also coached volleyball and basketball. After getting married, Karri chose to take a position as her church's secretary. She has taught co-op classes off and on through the years, directed musical theater productions and led the children's ministry at her church. When teaching classes she prefers to have students active in learning stations or using project based learning rather than lecturing. Karri and her husband Eric have graduated two sons that are currently in college and have three children schooling at home. Her biggest prayer for her children and students is that they learn to know, love and serve God using their unique gifts and talents.
