Elizabeth has a Master’s in education: Mathematics (7-12) from Maryville University. She has been in public education for 27 years. She taught Algebra I and Geometry for 11 years in the county. Then God called and placed her in the urban environment of St. Louis City in one of its more challenging high schools. During that time she stepped out of the classroom for three years and worked as a consultant teacher where she mentored, coached, supported and evaluated new teachers in the district K-12. These last years she has taught algebra I, Algebra II, Statistics, Mathematical Concepts (Trigonometry and College Algebra) and College Algebra.
She recently retired and thought this would be a great transition for her from full time teaching. She looks forward to sharing her mathematical knowledge with her students. When she is not visiting her 4 grandchildren on the East coast she is often found with her older brother visiting National Parks, with a trip planned this summer to Glacier National Park in Montana.
